Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily production for a fast-paced computer refurbishment and e-commerce company.
This is not a desk-only management position. The right person will be actively involved in the work while also managing the team, workflow, quality, productivity, and daily shipping goals.
Our company refurbishes and ships laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, monitors, and related computer equipment. Orders ship daily, so we need a strong leader who can keep production moving, solve problems quickly, motivate the team, and make sure KPIs are being met.
Responsibilities
- Manage and participate in all daily refurbishment operations
- Oversee receiving, unloading, sorting, and inventory intake
- Manage auditing, testing, grading, repairs, upgrades, cleaning, packing, and shipping workflows
- Ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time
- Manage RMA/returns processing and make sure issues are resolved quickly
- Assign tasks to warehouse, audit, repair, cleaning, and shipping staff
- Keep staff motivated, productive, and accountable
- Track daily production goals and KPIs
- Identify bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency
- Maintain quality standards for refurbished computers
- Help train employees on procedures, quality expectations, and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/production environment
- Coordinate between production, inventory, customer service, and e-commerce teams
- Make sure equipment, parts, chargers, packaging, and supplies are available for production
- Handle urgent issues in a fast-paced environment without slowing down operations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team motivation (leadership skill)?, The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on leader who is comfortable managing people while also jumping into the work when needed. This person should be organized, energetic, and able to lead by example in a production-driven environment., * Experience managing warehouse, production, refurbishment, repair, or e-commerce operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Hands-on work ethic - must be willing to help with operations directly
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to track goals, productivity, quality, and daily output
- Good communication skills with staff and management
- Experience with computers, electronics, IT equipment, or refurbishment is strongly preferred
- Experience with receiving, inventory, shipping, repairs, or RMA management is preferred
- Ability to lift, move, stand, walk, and work on the warehouse floor as needed
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
