Job description

VIQU IT has a customer who are seeking an experienced IT Manager to support day-to-day IT operations during a critical period of business change, including a multi-company merger.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone already operating at IT Manager level, who can step in and take ownership from day one.

IT Manager role Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and external IT service providers (MSPs)
  • Manage business-as-usual (BAU) IT operations across global offices
  • Own and drive ongoing IT projects, ensuring delivery and stakeholder alignment
  • Handle escalations, approvals, and issue resolution across IT services
  • Coordinate with end users, managing expectations and resolving issues efficiently
  • Execute IT policies and ensure operational compliance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT Manager role
  • Strong background working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • Hands-on Technical awareness/capability within a Microsoft environment
  • Experience owning and delivering IT projects
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, ticketing systems, and escalation processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
