Job description
VIQU IT has a customer who are seeking an experienced IT Manager to support day-to-day IT operations during a critical period of business change, including a multi-company merger.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone already operating at IT Manager level, who can step in and take ownership from day one.
IT Manager role Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and external IT service providers (MSPs)
- Manage business-as-usual (BAU) IT operations across global offices
- Own and drive ongoing IT projects, ensuring delivery and stakeholder alignment
- Handle escalations, approvals, and issue resolution across IT services
- Coordinate with end users, managing expectations and resolving issues efficiently
- Execute IT policies and ensure operational compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT Manager role
- Strong background working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Hands-on Technical awareness/capability within a Microsoft environment
- Experience owning and delivering IT projects
- Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, ticketing systems, and escalation processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
