Job description

This is a permanent role, mainly site-based across two locations in Greater Manchester (Whitefield and Royton), so you’ll need a full driving licence and your own car. Salary is set at £32k but there’s flexibility for the right person with stronger experience.

Requirements

Installing, configuring and troubleshooting desktop PCs, printers, scanners, IP phones and mobile devices
Getting involved in IT projects across the business
Owning helpdesk requests end-to-end and keeping resolution times tight

What you’ll need (2+ years’ experience)

Windows 11
Microsoft Intune, Azure and O365
Windows Server 2019+
Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
Switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi and VPNs
iOS and Android device management
VoIP telephony
ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or similar

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing/distribution business for an IT Support Engineer to join their small but busy IT team. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day IT issues across a mixed office, factory and warehouse environment, real hands-on variety rather than sitting behind a helpdesk queue all day.
