Job description

Supports inventory accuracy through reconciliation, research, and root cause analysis. Supports operational accountability by identifying, escalating, and tracking inventory variances and user-driven discrepancies.

Responsibilities

· Perform detailed research and reconciliation of inventory variances across system and physical inventory

· Analyze discrepancies and identify root causes, including user-specific errors and process gaps

· Escalate and report user-driven variances to operations leadership for accountability and corrective action

· Participate in second counts and supervisory counts when initial counts identify discrepancies

· Validate and audit inventory transactions to ensure system integrity

· Support cycle count program effectiveness through analysis and feedback

· Utilize WMS and reporting tools to monitor inventory trends and anomalies

· Develop and maintain reports to track variances, adjustments, and recurring issues

· Partner with operations to implement corrective actions and improve inventory processes

· Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures and audit requirements

Requirements

· 3-5+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience

· Strong understanding of inventory processes and warehouse operations

· Experience performing reconciliation and variance analysis

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, filtering, and basic data analysis

· Experience working with WMS and inventory reporting tools

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

· Ability to communicate findings clearly and drive accountability with operations teams

· Experience Operating electric pallet jack, dock stocker, cherry picker preferred
