Job description

  • Prepare and record donations, both monetary and in-kind, and thank you correspondence in a professional and timely manner.

  • Enter and track donor information in the donor tracking system (Little Green Light)

  • Reconciles income each month with the Our Lady of the Lake Director of Development.

  • Prepare and develop reports such as the Annual Report using Little Green Light software and in consultation with the Fund Treasurer.

  • Prepare quarterly donor newsletters and other communications.

  • Prepare and support content for Development Office aspects of the website including use of software services such as CANVA.

  • Assist the school business manager in tracking progress of scholarships and endowed funds; prepare reports and support various correspondence.

  • Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events, including sponsorship coordination, donor correspondence, auction procurement and tracking, volunteer coordination, event registration, database management, and post-event stewardship.

Requirements

Education Requirement Education and/or experience in any of the following: accounting/banking, fundraising, marketing, public relations, communications, or related fields. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar, and other Google applications as well as OneCause, Constant Contact.

  • Experience with donor database software, website management, and constituent relationship management (CRM) platforms preferred. Experience with Little Green Light or similar donor management systems is a plus.

  • Proficiency with fundraising and communication platforms, including OneCause, Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and database management software.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of organization, manage multiple priorities, and pay close attention to detail.

  • Strong skills in composing, editing, and proofreading materials while establishing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining flexible and collaborative in working with individuals both inside and outside the organization.

  • Strong attention to detail, data management skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in donor and organizational records.
