Palo Alto Cloud Engineer

Design and deploy secure, highly available VM-Series Palo Alto firewalls within multi-cloud environments. Configure and maintain BIG-IP F5 LTM and ASM instances to optimize traffic routing and application security. Manage enterprise firewalls centrally using Panorama templates, device groups, and global protect configurations. Troubleshoot complex configuration, routing, and policy issues across development and production platforms. Build robust monitoring, logging, and audit pipelines to verify compliance with mandated security frameworks. Collaborate with product owners and security teams to architect zero-trust controls for cloud applications. Author technical deployment configurations, incident reports, and system architecture diagrams. 10 or more years of experience in enterprise network security and infrastructure systems engineering. Proficiency in Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls across AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Experience with BIG-IP F5 LTM and ASM deployments, including writing specific iRules. Experience in Panorama management, template configuration, and threat prevention tuning. Experience with architecting zero-trust network access controls and secure cloud routing. Experience in compliance validation frameworks including NIST, MARS-E, HIPAA, and PII. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
