Job description
We’re looking for a customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team and provide technical support to employees across our Virginia operations. If you enjoy troubleshooting technology, solving problems, and helping people succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As our IT Support Technician, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for employee technology needs and help maintain a reliable, secure IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via ticketing system, email, phone, and in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
- Configure and deploy Windows PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Perform employee onboarding and offboarding technology setup
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests
- Install, configure, and maintain approved software applications
- Support office printers, warehouse label printers, scanners, and shipping workstations
- Document support requests and maintain accurate ticket records
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience
- Experience supporting Windows 11 environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, and peripheral devices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or Microsoft Intune
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset management software
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications
- Experience supporting mobile devices and endpoint management solutions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and install computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment
- Ability to work on-site at our Petersburg, Virginia facility
- Occasional after-hours support during maintenance or business-critical events
