Data Analyst

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting tools to visualize key metrics.
• Manage data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes to ensure high-quality data flow within SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and translate needs into effective data models and visualizations.
• Conduct database design activities and optimize query management for efficient data retrieval.
• Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics solutions.
• Utilize scripting languages such as VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Talend for automation and integration tasks within diverse data environments.
• Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that facilitate business intelligence initiatives while ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Engage in Agile project management practices to deliver timely analytics solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain technical proficiency in SQL query optimization, linked data integration, and analysis skills to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong understanding of data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, R, Python, and Excel data analysis.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; experience with database design is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ETL processes using tools like Talend or scripting languages such as VBA or Bash for automation purposes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights; experience in business analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) principles applied within analytics projects.
• Ability to create compelling visualizations through dashboards development that communicate findings effectively.
• Experience working within Agile environments with project management skills that support timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for requirements analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Technical proficiency in SQL query management, data model design, linked data integration, and reporting/reporting tools like Visio is advantageous.
