Data Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. With a focus on technical proficiency and business analysis, you will play a vital role in enhancing our data-driven culture and optimizing operational efficiency., * Develop, implement, and maintain data models and database designs to support reporting and analytics needs.

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using tools such as Talend, Python, Bash scripts, and SQL to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Conduct requirements analysis with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis utilizing Excel, R, SQL databases, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Collaborate within Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analytics products.
• Support database management activities including query management in SQL Server, Oracle, or other platforms; optimize performance for large datasets.
• Engage in business intelligence projects by designing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that facilitate strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Document processes using Visio or similar tools; participate in project management activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong foundation in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, R, Python, VBA, or SAS.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; proficient in query management and database design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and reports that enhance business understanding through effective data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of business intelligence concepts including requirements analysis, data modeling, linked data integration, and dashboard development.
• Experience working with data visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker; ability to create compelling visual stories from raw data.
• Technical proficiency in Bash (Unix shell scripting), VBA automation within Excel, and database query optimization is highly desirable.
