Job description

Scope of Work

  • Design and build reproducible Reinforcement Learning environments that evaluate AI performance on software engineering tasks.
  • Create high-quality reference (“golden”) solutions for debugging, feature implementation, code refactoring, and optimization challenges.
  • Develop realistic programming scenarios across multiple languages and technology stacks.
  • Analyze code quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability while creating engineering tasks.
  • Document environments, expected behaviors, and evaluation criteria to ensure reproducibility and consistency.
  • Collaborate with project reviewers to refine tasks and improve AI training quality.
  • Deliver clear technical documentation and communicate engineering decisions effectively.

Requirements

We are seeking engineers with strong experience in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript who are passionate about software quality and problem-solving. You’ll create Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments that evaluate AI models on real engineering challenges, including debugging, feature implementation, refactoring, and performance optimization.

No prior AI experience is required. Your software engineering expertise is what matters most., * Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

  • Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Extensive experience debugging complex software systems and delivering maintainable solutions.
  • Strong background in feature development, code refactoring, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating within engineering teams, preferably in distributed or remote environments., * Experience working on large-scale, distributed software systems.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or reinforcement learning concepts.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and promoting software engineering best practices.
  • Background building developer tools, testing frameworks, or engineering infrastructure.
