Job description

  • Participate in team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Work closely with product managers responsible for other Microbiology product portfolios and business teams to create and maintain product enhancement backlog lined to the product roadmap according to business value/ROI
  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
  • Utilize Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and work in multi-functional teams to enhance and support existing portfolio The essential requirements of the job include

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or Business, or a related field with 9+years of shown experience or a master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Work experience should include product development and product line management of instruments and software.
  • Understanding of business value related to software features and functions
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Software development experience
  • Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
  • Microbiology (Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Microbiology)
  • Working in a Healthcare regulated Product Development and Sales environment, e.g., FDA, IVD

The salary range for this role is $127,500.00 -$160,000.00 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

This position will join the Microbiology Operating Company team nested within Beckman Coulter located in West Sacramento, CA.
