Software Engineer, Frontend, AI Tooling

As an Engineer on the AI Tooling team,you’llbring elite software engineering skills to make an immediate contribution to our critical tooling systems. Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or neural networks is a plus but notrequired. Strong candidates are either outstanding software generalists or exceptionally strong specialists in back-end orfront-endengineering. What You’ll Do

• Design and implement web-based tools for data visualization and data labeling

• Work on our remotetele-optool (live streaming video,audioand remotely controlling Robotaxis)

• Work on visualizations ofAutopilot clips (camera streams, vehicle signals, Autopilot predictions)

• Work on our data annotation tools (segmentation, 3d spatial labelling,Digital Optimus)

• Work on our management tools for our engineering fleet vehicles and test drivers

• Work closely with data analysts to understand UX challenges and suggest improvements

• Work closely with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate with frontend systems

• Work closely with AI researchers to build efficient and intuitive UI that accelerate their workflows

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability

• Strong understanding of JavaScriptand React

• Experience with 2d/3d graphics via OpenGL, WebGL, THREE.js or equivalent

• Strong UI,design, and UXsensibilities

• Proven record of delivering impactful UIs and features

Expected Compensation $140,000 - $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
