Job description

The Digital experience mobile team is seeking a highly motivated engineer to help shape the future of transportation through exceptional mobile experiences. You will be responsible for working on various Tesla order to ownership, accounts and payments experience on Tesla mobile app as well as various features on Robotaxi app. You will take full ownership of features from architecture design to robust implementation, delivering delightful and polished experiences that make our app not just functional but magical. What You’ll Do

  • Design, code, debug and own features from concept to release for the Tesla mobile application and Robotaxi
  • Work closely with design, vehicle, product and backend teams to create seamless interactions for users
  • Own the full development lifecycle of mobile features including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Continuously improve app performance, usability, and customer delight

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, proof of exceptional skills in related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in mobile app development
  • Proficient in React Native, React, JavaScript and Node
  • Experience in Node.js, Express, TypeScript
  • Have a working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Fuze
  • Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems
  • Experience using common design patterns and high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance

Expected Compensation $168,000 - $396,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
