Product Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Product Support Engineer for a Contract with a client in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate with experience supporting product verification, test automation, and root cause analysis activities to ensure compliance with FDA and quality standards. Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Product Support Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Execute product verification and validation testing activities in accordance with FDA regulations, quality standards, and approved test plans. Develop, maintain, and improve verification systems and test methods to ensure comprehensive product test coverage and reliable results. Analyze test data, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis to identify issues and support corrective actions. Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline testing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with hardware, software, and product engineering teams to review requirements, develop test strategies, and support product releases. Document test results, maintain detailed records, and assist in the creation and revision of verification protocols, reports, and regulatory documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 2-5 years of experience in product verification, validation testing, quality engineering, or test engineering, preferably within a regulated environment. Strong experience in verification testing, root cause analysis, test plan development, data analysis, and Python-based test automation. Proven ability to support FDA-regulated product development, collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams, and create detailed test documentation and validation reports.
