Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a leading healthcare organization in Irving, Texas. This is an onsite contract opportunity for a highly organized project management professional with extensive experience leading enterprise IT initiatives from planning through implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing multiple complex technology projects, working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive leadership while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget., * Lead multiple large-scale IT projects from initiation through completion.
- Follow PMO methodologies, project governance, and best practices.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Coordinate project activities across technical and business teams.
- Gather and analyze business requirements.
- Review vendor Statements of Work (SOWs) and project deliverables.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing mitigation plans.
- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to leadership and steering committees.
- Manage project budgets and resource utilization.
- Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
- Ensure users receive appropriate training and are prepared for system changes.
- Mentor junior project managers and provide project oversight.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (required).
- Equivalent experience in an Information Systems environment may be considered.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise IT projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and PMO governance.
- Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Experience with enterprise project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Healthcare IT project management experience., * Do you have experience managing multiple enterprise-level IT projects simultaneously?

- Do you have Healthcare IT project management experience?
- Have you managed vendor Statements of Work (SOWs) and third-party vendors?
