Senior IT Project Manager - Healthcare (Remote)

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage healthcare Information Systems projects, including third-party healthcare applications and technology implementations., * Lead and manage healthcare Information Systems projects from planning through implementation and post-production support.

• Follow established PMO methodologies, processes, and project management standards.
• Determine user requirements, establish priorities, and develop project plans and schedules.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, deliverables, and workload planning.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage third-party healthcare applications, including implementation and integration activities.
• Track project issues, risks, dependencies, milestones, and critical-path activities.
• Prepare and communicate project status reports to management and steering committees.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Ensure system changes are thoroughly tested and validated before implementation.
• Coordinate user training and readiness activities.
• Ensure project documentation, procedures, guidelines, and compliance requirements are completed.
• Identify project challenges and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
• Support successful implementation and transition to post-production operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare IT, or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience in an Information Systems environment.
• Strong experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within healthcare.
• Experience managing healthcare third-party applications.
• PMI certification / PMP strongly preferred.
• Experience in the medical imaging domain.
• Experience managing imaging-related healthcare applications.
• Epic implementation/module experience is a plus.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, issue/risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience coordinating application implementation and system changes.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, testing, implementation, and user readiness., * Do you have experience managing third-party healthcare applications? Please describe the applications and your role.
