IT Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our staff. This position will be required to travel to our 11 retail locations in Florida. Stores primarily on the west side of the state from Gainsville to Port Charlotte. Home base will be in our Tampa office.

Duties:

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Respond to IT issues; provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Set up accounts for new users; manage access control
• Maintain backups of data
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, DNS, and network administration
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems
• Ability to manage computer systems efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred)
• Certification in Computer Management or related field (nice-to-have), * Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
• Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
