Job description
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys improving payroll operations through technology-not running payroll every pay period. You’ll work closely with Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to enhance payroll systems, streamline processes, and lead high-impact projects across the organization., * Lead payroll system enhancements, upgrades, and enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to optimize payroll technology and business processes.
- Manage system configuration, testing, implementations, and ongoing enhancements.
- Analyze complex payroll system issues and develop scalable, long-term solutions.
- Support integrations, reporting, data integrity, and system performance.
- Drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure payroll systems align with internal controls, SOX requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for payroll technology and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Payroll Systems, HRIS, Payroll Operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting enterprise payroll platforms (ADP Vantage highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and multi-state payroll environments.
- Experience leading system implementations, enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proven project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a SOX-controlled or highly regulated environment is a plus.
