Job description

Lead a small vinyl application team, allocating work orders and coordinating production activities to meet deadlines.

Support team development through performance management and day-to-day leadership.

Produce and install a wide range of internal and external signage, including fascia signs and post-mounted signs.

Ensure all installation projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manufacture signage using a variety of substrates including Dibond, acrylic, metal, wood, vinyl, and Foamex.

Apply vinyl graphics to a range of substrates with precision and attention to detail.

Interpret customer briefs accurately and recommend appropriate signage and manufacturing solutions.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot vinyl cutting and laminating equipment.

Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are understood and followed.

Promote a strong health and safety culture and take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues.

Assist wider production teams when required.
Requirements

The successful candidate will combine strong technical sign-making expertise with the ability to lead a small team, ensuring high-quality production and installation standards are maintained at all times.
We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is motivated by delivering exceptional results for customers., To be successful in this role, you will have:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sign making and installation.

Strong experience operating vinyl plotters, cutters, and laminators.

Proven experience within a sign fitting role, including panel application and installation.
-
A solid understanding of signage manufacturing processes and techniques.
-
Experience using design and cutting software such as CorelDRAW and SignLab.
-
The ability to accurately interpret technical briefs and specifications.
-
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-
A flexible and professional approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
A strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing or installation environment.
