Product Support Technician

We are looking for a Product Technician to join the busy design team, supporting the delivery of technically compliant solutions from concept through to manufacture. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely with customers, architects, contractors and internal teams., * Attend and contribute to design meetings, providing technical support to clients, architects and contractors.

• Liaise with customers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are understood.
• Prepare technical submissions, product schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering information to produce accurate manufacturing details.
• Create production information, take-offs, and component requirements.
• Provide technical input to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support effective design solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.

Do you have experience or knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings?, * Strong communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office particularly Excel (including formulas and data management).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software (desirable but not essential).
• Experience within the glazing, construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Understanding of building warranty providers and industry standards.
