Developer

The Developer will be responsible for developing solutions for internal business processes. The position will be involved in the design and implementation of a new enterprise service bus, and will work with organizational units to ensure data is flowing properly between systems. In addition to troubleshooting and problem resolution, the Developer also works on patches, upgrades, backup, other housekeeping routines, as well as new system planning, implementation, and integration.

The candidate should have 1 to 5 years experience in designing, implementing and development software, web, or mobile solutions.

Knowledge of Filemaker and Java are preferred. Must be willing to learn Filemaker, if not already known.

The position requires participating in on-call support. The Developer will be required to manage multiple projects and assist the help desk in tier 2 support on issues related to systems they work on. Must have a customer service orientation and be a quick learner. Must have solid documentation skills and ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge with other team members. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter., * The candidate should have 1 to 5 years of development experience, possibly involving software, the web, or mobile applications.

• Experience with Filemaker is not required but candidate must be willing to learn.
• Macintosh experience is preferred.
• Experience in a media related field is preferred.
• Experience with VMware is preferred.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects and providing Tier 2 support.
