Senior Scrum Master

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a on-site opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will serve as a Scrum Master, guiding Agile teams through Scrum practices while promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and successful project delivery. This individual will partner with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to remove impediments, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and help ensure projects are completed on time and with a high level of quality., * Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Remove impediments that impact team productivity and support the successful execution of Agile initiatives.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure priorities and deliverables remain aligned.
• Monitor Agile metrics, project progress, risks, and key performance indicators while communicating status updates to stakeholders.
• Coach team members on Scrum principles and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support the successful delivery of high-quality solutions while ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• 3+ years of experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• 3+ years of experience using Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with Agile project management tools.
• 3+ years of experience with database querying and programming.
• Experience supporting hybrid project delivery methodologies that combine Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to coach Agile teams and drive continuous process improvement.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Scrum Master:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or comparable Agile certification.
• Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives.
• Previous experience working within a government or public sector environment.
