Job description

You’ll be responsible for processing cash receipts, reconciling accounts, supporting the billing team, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions., * Post daily cash receipts to client, matter, and general ledger accounts.

  • Research and identify miscellaneous cash receipts for proper application.
  • Prepare and distribute daily cash receipt reports and ad hoc reporting.
  • Process accounts receivable write-offs in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide client account balances and billing reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Support the billing team with account inquiries and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality.

Requirements

We are partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join their Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of accounting, accounts receivable, or cash applications experience looking to continue building their career in a collaborative and professional environment., * 1-3 years of accounting, accounts receivable, cash applications, or related accounting experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
