Cybersecurity Analyst I - SOC Operations

• Monitor security events, alerts, and system activity within the Security Operations Center.
• Provide proactive onsite monitoring and response for critical communication systems and information technology environments.
• Review, classify, prioritize, and escalate security alerts based on established procedures.
• Perform initial investigation and triage of security incidents to determine validity and impact.
• Analyze technical data to identify potential threats, incidents, and false positives.
• Document security events, investigations, response actions, and escalation details accurately.
• Manage incident communications through email, chat, voice, and ticketing systems.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities and assist with issue resolution.
• Follow SOC playbooks, procedures, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with team members to improve monitoring processes, detection strategies, and response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders during security events.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, network monitoring, and incident response processes.

$31 - $35 an hour - Full-time, Contract
