  • Configure, integrate, test, and maintain server environments supporting telecom and critical infrastructure systems
  • Manage Linux server environments, including RHEL and Ubuntu platforms
  • Configure, patch, harden, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments
  • Support remote access solutions, including stepping stones, jump servers, and bastion hosts
  • Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or OpenShift
  • Support infrastructure integration with Core, RAN, Element Manager, and Network Manager systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot DNS, NTP, logging, monitoring, AAA, and authentication integrations
  • Perform technical troubleshooting across Linux, Windows, networking, and system integrations
  • Test configurations, permissions, failover mechanisms, and continuity solutions
  • Apply security-by-design principles, including least privilege, access control, hardening, and audit logging
  • Collaborate with architects, suppliers, and technical specialists on infrastructure dependencies and implementation decisions
  • Provide input into technical designs with focus on feasibility, security, and manageability
  • Document configurations, test results, technical solutions, and operational procedures
  • Support technical handover towards the future management organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, System Engineer, Linux Engineer, Windows Server Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments, especially RHEL and/or Ubuntu
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments is considered an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or OpenShift
  • Experience with server configuration, patching, hardening, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including IP networking, subnetting, routing, DNS, NTP, and network segmentation
  • Experience with remote access solutions, jump servers, bastion hosts, and secure access management
  • Knowledge of IAM, authentication, authorization, Group Policy, IPA, or similar technologies
  • Experience with servers, storage, and datacenter infrastructure
  • Understanding of security principles such as security-by-design, least privilege, logging, and access control
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms is considered an advantage
  • Experience within telecom, energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with architects, engineers, and suppliers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly
