Job description

Due to a vacancy in the ICT team, we have a brilliant opportunity for an ICT Systems Specialist (Housing) to join us.

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) is on a transformational journey to become a smarter business, with significant investment in technology to ensure our customers and colleagues have systems that meet their needs.

This role will be key to ensuring both new and existing business systems are utilised to their fullest potential. You will have been the “go-to” person for application support and technical queries. Extensive experience working with a range of housing-specific systems, such as those below, is required:

Orchard/HMS/Aareon/Civica, including system migrations and integrations

Salesforce

Asset management software, such as Promaster, Pimms or Keystone

Repairs, contractor or mobile working software, such as Accuserv or 1st Touch

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be on site at least twice a week and live within a commutable distance of Wythenshawe.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical enhancements to existing systems

Provide expert support for incidents and requests related to core business systems

Maintain and optimise business systems, proactively identifying business areas that would benefit from core system optimisation or enhancements

Troubleshoot problems relating to business systems, and design and implement solutions as appropriate

Work with the Innovation team to ensure that new digital system implementations are aligned to business need, customer demand, and technology and support standards, providing support and remedial action where necessary

Work with the ICT Training Specialist to design and maintain appropriate technical documentation

Work with service managers to understand operational demand and ensure that it is met by system capabilities

To undertake this role to its fullest, you will require the following key skills, knowledge and experience

Requirements

Professional qualifications, or relevant demonstrable experience

ITIL 3 or 4

Agile/Scrum experience/certification

Excellent experience of systems analysis processes and practices in a Digital Services and/or ICT environment, including identifying and delivering improvements

Extensive experience working with a range of housing systems, such as housing management software (Orchard Housing), CRM, asset management software, repairs software, and contractor/mobile working software; experience of Salesforce would be beneficial
