Job description

  • Administer, configure and maintain the Group’s Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms across multiple business entities.
  • Design, build, test and maintain Salesforce automations using Flows, validation rules, approval processes and assignment rules.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and security permissions in line with best practice.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and analytics to support commercial and marketing teams.
  • Manage system changes through structured change control, testing and release processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support, resolving incidents and managing enhancement requests.
  • Maintain and prioritise the Salesforce development backlog, working closely with business stakeholders.
  • Produce user documentation, deliver training and support user adoption across the business.
  • Work with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions while maintaining platform integrity.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records and process maps.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, with experience of Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce automation using Flows and declarative tools.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, user management and platform configuration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes.
  • Experience managing Salesforce change control, testing and release processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) is desirable.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as Sage 200, EFACS or similar is advantageous.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Pardot (Account Engagement), Tableau, CPQ or other Salesforce applications is beneficial.
  • Experience working within a multi-site or multi-entity business environment would be advantageous.
