Job DescriptionRole: IT Support TechnicianLocation: Whitefield, Manchester - (site based moving to 4 days a week on site)Salary: £32,000 to £34,000A well-established manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Technician to join its growing IT team.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused IT professional with at least 2 years’ experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing or industrial environment.What will you be doing?The successful candidate will: Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to office, warehouse, factory and remote users. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones and mobile devices. Take ownership of helpdesk tickets, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Support the delivery of key IT projects across the business.What are we looking for? Minimum 2 years’ IT support experience. Windows 11. Microsoft Intune, Azure and Microsoft 365. Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS. Network infrastructure including switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi and VPNs. iOS and Android device management. VoIP telephony systems. Experience with ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or a similar ITSM/helpdesk platform.Desirable Skills HCL Notes/Domino. Windows Server 2019 and later Endpoint security deployment and management. VMware and Hyper-V. MacOS.
