Senior Network & Security Operations Engineer (BPSS Cleared)

Are you an experienced Network & Security Specialist looking to manage a robust, multi-site infrastructure across the UK? We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to join a dedicated two-person team supporting network operations, security, and maintenance across 11 key regional locations., * Network & Security Operations: Maintain high availability and secure operations across firewalls, routers, switches, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi architecture.

• Incident & Problem Management: Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and SLA-based resolution.
• Lifecycle Maintenance: Manage firmware updates, configuration backups, security hardening, and OEM/vendor break-fix coordination.
• Onsite & Remote Administration: Deliver local hands-on technical support at the primary London site while leveraging remote tools to manage the remaining 10 sites.
• On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation dedicated strictly to high-priority (P1) operational emergencies outside regular 8x5 business hours.

• Security Clearance: Active BPSS clearance (or full immediate eligibility).
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration, multi-site operational management, and security governance.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of firewalls, routing/switching, SD-WAN, and enterprise wireless solutions.
• Location: Must be residing in the UK with the ability to work onsite at our primary London site.
• Certifications (Bonus): CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or equivalent enterprise credentials.
