Job description

  • Audit Electricity, Gas, Water, and other utility invoices using proprietary software
  • Key data into Excel spreadsheets
  • Utilize online portals to retrieve customer invoices
  • Create and submit accounts payable reports to customers
  • Monitor and respond to emails
  • Assist with onboarding projects
  • Load consumption reports of utility data using proprietary software
  • Submit, track, and follow up on IT support tickets
  • Provide daily status updates on work queue and task progress
  • Collaborate on projects as needed
  • Communicate with utility providers via phone and email
  • Other tasks as directed

Additional Duties by Level:

Level II - In addition to Level I responsibilities:

  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve data anomalies or discrepancies
  • Verify system performance and data accuracy (historical, quarterly, and ad hoc)
  • Train new team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Assist in enhancing audit workflows and identifying process inefficiencies
  • Maintain ongoing documentation of new procedures or system changes
  • Begin to specialize in specific industry verticals (electric, water, gas) or systems

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, reporting)
  • Strong research, reading comprehension, and document analysis skills
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks
  • Strong math aptitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, * Demonstrated ability to complete complex audits and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide insight to process improvements
  • Familiarity with broader energy/utility industry concepts, * Tulsa-Area Based
  • 1-3 years Business Experience
  • Business or Science background preferred
