Systems Administrator

• Assist in managing IT Infrastructure operations (Physical/Virtual Servers, Networking Connectivity, Storage Network, VDI Help Desk Support, Daily Backup, VOIP Phone System).
• Install and upgrade servers following established guidelines.
• Responsible for production and all operational aspects of the on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain IT documentation when changes are made; assist in the development of IT strategic plans; develop IT plans and recommendations for management.
• Coordinate and implement off-hours server patch management.
• Monitor and review EDR/XDR alerts (events, security, and firewall, etc.) and resolve related issues.
• Respond to user’s help desk requests and keep them informed through problem resolution. Properly document the tasks performed to resolve each ticket.
• Communicate with vendors to troubleshoot, fix, upgrade, and improve hardware and software., Telecommuting may be permitted a few days a week. When not telecommuting, must report to JLEM’s office in Florham Park, NJ.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years experience in the job or related. Prior education, training or experience to include:
