Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Designs, implements, and manages secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure. Provides expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), cloud governance, cross-account architecture, automation, monitoring, security, and cost optimization., * Design and manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, landing zones, cross-account architectures, and enterprise governance.

• Lead infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, compliance, and costs using cloud-native tools and platforms such as Datadog.
• Develop and support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and failover strategies across AWS and Azure.
• Optimize cloud resources and configurations for performance, scalability, security, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Support migration of on-premises systems to AWS and Azure.
• Manage cloud identity, IAM roles, access controls, and security models, including Azure Entra ID and AWS services.
• Partner with application, network, cybersecurity, and IT teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud architecture, operations, troubleshooting, and technical issues.
• Maintain cloud architecture documentation, standards, procedures, and governance policies.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, cost management, and compliance initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 6-8 years of relevant IT experience, including 4-6 years of AWS and/or Azure administration.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS and Azure environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools and/or Datadog.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and emerging technologies.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred.
