Job description

We are looking for a solid L1/L2 Helpdesk Technician to join our team. This is an in-person role in Huntington Beach with one nice perk: when you are on call for the week, you work from home on Fridays. It is not fully remote, and we are not going to pretend it is. What we are offering instead is a real team, real variety, and a company that is constantly asking “how do we make this better?” - and actually following through.

Fair warning: we are project-heavy right now, so the ticket queue is real. We need someone who can jump in, take ownership, and keep clients calm while the rest of us are heads-down on bigger builds. You will be supported, not abandoned.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Handling helpdesk tickets across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and networking - the full range from “my printer hates me” to legitimate security triage.
  • Working inside HaloPSA for ticketing and documentation - if you have used it before, you are already ahead. If not, it is not hard to learn and miles better than some of the alternatives.
  • Using N-able RMM to monitor, manage, and support client endpoints. You will get comfortable here fast.
  • Following SOPs (and flagging when they need updating - we want that feedback).
  • Documenting your work clearly so the next tech does not have to start from scratch.
  • Communicating with clients in plain English, with patience and professionalism even when the issue is… user-generated.
  • Escalating when it makes sense and owning it when you can resolve it yourself.
  • Supporting a team that is growing fast and needs people who bring their best consistently.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of MSP or IT services experience. You know what a PSA is and you have lived inside a ticket queue.
  • Solid Microsoft 365 knowledge - admin tasks, common support issues, the works.
  • Comfortable with Windows desktop and server environments and networking fundamentals.
  • A working understanding of cybersecurity basics - we run SentinelOne with SOC-backed monitoring through Adlumin, so you will be exposed to real security workflows, not just antivirus.
  • Familiarity with any of our core tools (HaloPSA, N-able, SentinelOne) is a genuine plus and worth mentioning in your application.
  • Clear communicator, good documenter, self-starter.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certs are a bonus, not a dealbreaker., * Do you have experience working at a Managed Services Provider?
  • How many years of helpdesk or IT support experience do you have?
  • Are you comfortable working onsite in Huntington Beach, CA Monday through Thursday with occasional Friday remote?
  • Have you worked with any of the following tools? (HaloPSA, N-able, SentinelOne, ConnectWise, None)
  • Describe a time you resolved a difficult client support issue. How did you handle it?

One Last Thing

We are security-focused, fast-paced, and honest about what this role involves. If you thrive in a place where no two days look the same, where your work directly protects real businesses from real threats, and where the team genuinely has each other’s backs - this is your spot.

If you need a fully remote role or a slow ticket queue, we respect that. We are just probably not the right fit right now.

Apply and let us know why you are the one.
