Data Cabling Engineers North East Location: Newcastle and across the North East Job Type: Contract and ongoing opportunities Bauhaus Recruitment is looking to connect with experienced Data Cabling Engineers for current and upcoming projects throughout the North East. We work with clients across commercial offices, schools, retail sites, data centres, warehouses and other large-scale environments. Project lengths and locations will vary, with both short-term assignments and longer contracts available. Typical duties: Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling Cable pulling, dressing and containment Terminating outlets and patch panels Testing, labelling and fault-finding Cabinet installations and patching Installing wireless access points Copper and fibre installation Completing site documentation Requirements: Previous structured cabling experience CSCS or ECS card Own tools and PPE Good termination and testing skills Reliable and professional on customer sites Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, DBS or fibre-splicing experience would be beneficial Rates will depend on the project, location and level of experience.
