Job description
Endurion is seeking an Instructional Systems Design- Senior Developer for the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)., Endurion is looking for a qualified person to support our multi-year contract with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of USSOCOM. As the ISD-SR Developer, provide the Endurion Task Lead Instructional Systems Design Developer subject matter expertise that assists in the execution of JSOU’s educational support services with emphasis on military studies., * Monitor, train, and mentor new/junior developers
- Review all online products to ensure all courseware is developed in accordance with JSOU course standards
- Advise course managers and pathway directors on designated course theme, structure, and content
- Assist in the development of courseware, to include Interactive multimedia instruction (IMIs), podcasts, videos, etc.
- Establish course development timelines and milestones
- Refine lesson narration script provided by SME
- Convert approved distance learning lesson plans to interactive lesson modules, podcasts, videos, etc.
- In JSOU identified Learning Management System (LMS) program: Upload banners, create modules, create content links in course pages, and test completed courses (beta test)
- Revise learning objectives/lessons based on LMS beta test results and subject matter review
- Upload and curate course content to the JSOU LMS
- In Storyline: Design and build IMIs/Content, schedule audio recording, sync audio to IMI video
- Schedule and provide an in-progress review once every 30 days to review the status of the designated course
- Review instructional media content, lesson decks, and graphics for clarity/alignment with designated course/program learning objectives
- Remedy LMS issues resulting from IMI malfunction, broken links, content viewing, etc.
- Assist in updating of course content as required
- Attend ERB for assigned courses and departmental reviews upon request
Requirements
- MA/MS (degree must be from a regionally accredited U.S. college/university or internationally recognized college/university) required with demonstrated study relating to the following subjects: learning theory, instructional design practices, educational evaluation, and instructional product development; OR 3 years’ experience in DoD military education and training as an instructor, instructional designer, or related administration/leadership role.
- 4 years’ instructional design or related experience.
- 4 years’ experience operating personal computers and various software packages: Captivate, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 4 years’ experience providing subject matter expertise for incorporating the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model with in-residence and distance learning courses.

Schedule: 0800-1700 Mon-Fri adjusted hours as needed.
Travel:
