Job description

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior-level Associate in Colorado Springs, CO, to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group on the Electrical Engineering and Software Team., * Draft and prosecute patent applications.

  • Engage in patent litigation activities.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensing in the state of employment.
  • Membership with the USPTO.
  • Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field.
  • Experience with AI/machine learning, software design, semiconductors, and medical devices is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of employment.
  • USPTO registration., * Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
