Job description
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from government stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for delivery teams.
- Support systems analysis across data warehouse, reporting, application, and analytics workstreams.
- Facilitate requirements sessions and maintain requirements traceability.
- Coordinate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to ensure requirements are met throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support user acceptance testing and validate delivered capabilities against documented requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis, systems analysis, or business analysis on IT programs.
- Experience documenting requirements and technical specifications in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working with data management, reporting, or application development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or comparable application lifecycle management tools.
- Experience supporting federal data or analytics programs., Bachelor’s degree in data science or a related quantitative field. Experience can be considered in lieu of education
