Job description

Akkodis is seeking a JAVA Spring boot developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications and microservices to support critical business operations and digital transformation initiatives., * Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, and related technologies.

  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and distribute microservices solutions to support business and system integration requirements.
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries, database interactions, and backend processes to ensure application performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional Agile teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to development best practices.
  • Support application deployment, version control, and DevOps activities using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, AWS, Docker, and cloud-based platforms., The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Java application development, enterprise software engineering, and microservices-based application development.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, REST/SOAP services, SQL, XML, JUnit, and J2EE application development.
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, developing scalable enterprise solutions, integrating applications using APIs and microservices, and utilizing tools such as Git, Bitbucket, AWS, Docker, or related cloud technologies.

Benefits & conditions

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
