Job description

Senior IT Program Managers provide overall leadership and direction for large, complex, multi-year IT development and/or Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs supporting the customer’s mission. Senior IT Program Managers manage large teams of employees and subcontractors, own program-level cost, schedule, and performance outcomes, and serve as the primary point of contact for senior customer and company executives. Senior IT Program Managers are expected to establish deep customer intimacy, make complex business and personnel decisions in the best interest of the program and company, and provide the leadership needed to inspire and direct large, dynamic program teams.

Requirements

US Citizenships and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions), * Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant program/project management experience, including demonstrated experience managing large multi-year IT programs; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, * Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, multi-year IT development and/or O&M programs, including full ownership of cost, schedule, and performance

  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams of company personnel and subcontractors, including staffing and personnel decisions
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining senior customer relationships and interfacing with executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience with program financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SDLC-based program execution at an enterprise scale
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, lead, and direct large program teams
  • PMP certification preferred
