Job description
IT Program Managers plan, direct, and manage the successful execution of complex IT development and/or Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs in support of the customer’s requirements. IT Program Managers interface with customer leadership and internal management, manage cost, schedule, and performance against the contract statement of work, and lead contractor personnel and subcontractors delivering against program commitments. IT Program Managers are expected to build strong customer relationships, resolve program risks and issues, and ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions on time and within budget.
Requirements
US Citizenships and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions), * Bachelor’s degree and 8-11 years of relevant program/project management experience, including at least 5 years leading and managing contractor personnel and deliverables under a contract of similar size and scope; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, * Demonstrated experience managing IT development and/or O&M programs, including cost, schedule, and performance management
- Experience leading and managing contractor and subcontractor teams in a government operating environment
- Experience with requirements documentation, customer requirements assessment, and development of responsive program/project plans
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SDLC-based program execution
- Experience managing programs within government contract structures (e.g., cost-plus, T&M, FFP)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of customer and company management
- PMP certification preferred
