Looking for a fun, fast-paced part-time job with consistent evening and Saturday hours?

Mary Lorraine’s Dance Center, one of Omaha’s most respected professional dance schools, is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Service Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a positive, family-oriented environment.

Whether you’re a college student looking for a schedule that works around daytime classes or someone seeking a rewarding long-term part-time position, we’d love to meet you!

We’re looking for someone who can either work the full weekly schedule or commit to at least two of the scheduled workdays September through May or beyond. Please indicate your availability when you apply.

About the Position

Our front desk team is the heart of our studio. As the first person families, prospective students, and visitors interact with, you’ll play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience. Every day is a little different, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys multitasking, solving problems, and pitching in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective dance families
  • Welcome students and visitors with a warm, professional attitude
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
  • Introduce prospective families to our programs and assist with enrollment
  • Assist with dancewear and shoe fittings
  • Perform administrative tasks using Google Drive and other office software
  • Assist with dancewear inventory and office organization
  • Help with miscellaneous projects and daily studio operations
  • Perform light cleaning to keep the lobby and customer areas clean, welcoming, and professional

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
  • Willing to help wherever needed with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable using Google Drive and basic computer applications, * Customer service, retail, receptionist, or administrative experience
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Dance experience is a plus, but not required

Benefits & conditions

  • Monday: 4:00-9:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 4:00-9 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 4:00-9:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: 4:00-9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Our schedule follows the local school calendar. The studio is closed for Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and approximately two weeks at Christmas. These breaks are unpaid. Payroll is processed monthly.
