Senior Network Engineer

• Participate on migration bridge calls
• Remotely access Extreme switches
• Identify the correct switch, interface, port and VLAN
• Move ports between VLANs
• Enable/disable switch ports
• Make configuration changes as directed
• Save configurations
• Verify connectivity following changes
• Troubleshoot network/connectivity issues
• Execute changes during maintenance windows
• Coordinate with the broader migration team

• Extreme Networks experience is mandatory. General Cisco/network engineering experience alone is not sufficient.
• Specific experience with BOSS and/or VOSS.
• Experience with ERS4850/4900 and VSP7200/8400 is highly desirable.
• Must be comfortable performing VLAN, port and interface changes remotely.
• Must be capable of troubleshooting during live migration/change windows.
• Must be comfortable spending significant time on a bridge awaiting instructions.
• Confirm availability to start July 31.
• Confirm willingness and ability to work the assigned overnight or weekend schedule.

$70 - $90 an hour - Full-time, Contract, * Obtain hourly rate and ensure we can remain below the $150/hour C1 bill-rate ceiling.

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
