Job description

Building proficiency with company systems, tools, and client environments
Designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced IT infrastructures for optimal performance and security
Acting as an escalation point for other Tier 1/2 engineers and help desk
Responding to client support requests across diverse infrastructure complexities
Troubleshooting network and server issues with a proactive approach
Monitoring system health and applying preventative maintenance
Escalating complex problems swiftly to minimize business impact
Participating in on-call rotations
Documenting all support activities accurately within ticketing systems

Requirements

Has at least 7 years of external client-facing network consulting experience, or complex multi-site in-house experience, or as a one person shop managing everything.
Possesses broad expertise in routing, switching, firewall, and cloud technologies
Is capable of managing complex projects involving M&A, multi-site setups, network expansions or separations
Has hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dell, and HPE solutions
Can troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Active Directory, and cloud integrations effortlessly
Is comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team
Holds or is willing to pursue certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization or cloud certifications
