Job description

  • 1st round: 25-minute manager screening to assess communication skills and product leadership experience
  • 2nd round: 45-minute technical screening with an engineering resource, including a technical exercise

Additional Notes:

  • Remote employees must be available during core hours of 10 AM - 3 PM CST; remaining hours are flexible.
  • Candidates should expect AI tooling questions during the interview process.
  • Teams are actively adopting AI-enabled software development practices and seek engineers comfortable working in that environment.

Requirements

  • Strong Python backend development experience (or comparable backend language, with ability to read Python)
  • Modern JavaScript frontend experience (Vue preferred; React or Angular acceptable)
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
  • GitLab and cloud deployment experience (AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Codex, or similar)
