Job description

Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), a global leader in DDoS mitigation, application security, and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer (SE) to join its rapidly expanding team. As businesses face an unprecedented surge in sophisticated cyberattacks, including AI-driven threats and complex multi-vector assaults, Radware is at the forefront of empowering organizations to secure their digital experiences. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to Radware’s “explosive growth” by showcasing the unique value of its innovative, AI-powered security solutions and services to prospective clients, existing customers, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will be a passionate technical evangelist, adept at navigating the evolving threat landscape in the AI era and translating complex security challenges into actionable solutions. As a vital member of the regional sales team, you will be instrumental in driving sales success through technical expertise and compelling solution positioning. Responsibilities include:

  • Understand and uncover customer needs: Analyze environments, identify pain points, and map to Radware solutions considering business/compliance needs.
  • Solution presentation and value articulation: Deliver compelling presentations and demos on Radware’s DDoS, WAF, API, and cloud security advantages.
  • Lead technical engagements: Drive customized demos, architectural deep-dives, and PoCs showcasing Radware’s differentiation.
  • Fuel innovation: Share field insights on customer needs and market trends with internal product, engineering, and threat research teams.
  • Maintain expertise: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends like perimeter/cloud security, app protection (OWASP, Bot, API), Zero Trust, and AI security implications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales role within the network or application security industry.
  • Proven experience with DDoS mitigation technologies, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), and API security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, internet services, and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS).
  • Demonstrable experience with traditional hosting environments, public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern security architectures (e.g., microservices, container security, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for demonstration or PoC purposes is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and demonstration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from technical SMEs to C-level executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel based on candidate location and business requirements (approximately 20-25%).
  • Highly desirable: Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCIE, Security+, CEH, or public cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
