Job description
As an Incident Manager for Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), you will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the financial system by translating customer signals and complex compliance incidents directly into concrete structural improvements. Operating within a high-priority remediation and client data recovery environment, you coordinate, analyze, and resolve critical incidents tied to regulatory compliance (such as AML/KYC and Wwft remediation programs), directly impacting data quality and the institution’s gatekeeper function., * Incident Lifecycle Coordination: Manage the end-to-end incident process by aggregating, recording, and analyzing signals and issues stemming from remediation tracks and operational channels.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Execute deep-dive root-cause analyses on structural incidents, translating technical and compliance findings into actionable improvement plans for relevant departments.
- Proactive Advisory & Prevention: Provide proactive advice on preventive measures based on identified patterns, operational risks, and regulatory feedback loops.
- Cross-Functional Facilitation: Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams during complex incidents, managing escalations to senior management when necessary.
- Reporting & Governance: Produce clear management reports and act as a robust, authoritative sparring partner for legal, compliance, and privacy offices.
Requirements
- Education: Academic (University / Master’s) level of thinking and working.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience within the financial sector, with proven, demonstrable experience as an Incident Manager, preferably in a highly regulated compliance environment.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Highly analytical, capable of quickly grasping core bottlenecks, taking full ownership, and driving issues to resolution under pressure.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of operating seamlessly across all organizational levels.
- Mindset: Proactive, independent, stress-resistant, and result-oriented, with a natural ability to manage expectations in a dynamic project landscape.
