Reporting to the current Self Store Manager, you will support inbound customer enquiries and assist prospective customers with storage solutions and support the existing customer base at Squab Storage Bridgwater.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting inbound enquiries and assisting customers through each stage of the booking and onboarding process, under the guidance of site management.
  • Handling all inbound customer enquiries promptly and efficiently including web, email, phone and face to face. Ensuring that all enquiries are logged accurately and followed up within the agreed timescales.
  • Providing customers visiting the site with a tour of the facilities and assisting them in understanding suitable storage options.
  • Assisting customers through standard sales administration process, including the completion of paperwork, ID checks and any additional sales are handled correctly, and entered into our customer management database.
  • Dealing with routine customer enquiries relating to their contract or account in a timely manner. Escalating to management where required.
  • Generating & sending out invoices and processing payments.
  • Assisting with administrative duties to ensure records and documentation are maintained accurately and in a timely manner: customer files; financial information (invoices, receipts); delivery paperwork and all other paperwork & emails relating to the day to day running of the site.
  • Ensuring the site is presentable and clean on a daily basis.
  • Following all company procedures and standards relating to HR, Operations, Quality and Health & Safety
  • Take a flexible approach to working as part of a team, or as an individual.
  • Undertaking all other duties as reasonably requested by the Company, You will be expected to work 40 hrs per week with the capability to work Saturdays on a rota basis.

Requirements

This role is suited to an individual that has excellent communication & administration skills, who is friendly, has a ‘can do’ attitude, with an aim of always exceeding customer expectations., * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both customers & colleagues, both face to face and also on the phone.

  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A high level of confidence and resilience in dealing with customer interactions.
  • IT skills in MS Office and experience in use of IT systems e.g. word processing, Excel, Powerpoint.

Desirable

  • ‘Front of house’ sales experience with administration expertise.
  • Positive approach to learning new software as required.
