Microsoft Excel A/B Testing Artificial Intelligence Database Queries Python (Programming Language) Power BI

Job description

In this role, you’ll turn LiveOps and monetisation questions into clear, measurable actions and help shape events, offers, and economies that players love, while sustainably growing revenue., * Monitor and analyse event cycles, feature rollouts, and in-game promotions, proactively flagging opportunities and risks such as pacing issues, difficulty spikes, and churn signals.

  • Evaluate sinks and sources, resource inflation, and progression friction, advising on economy tuning that balances fun, fairness, and revenue.
  • Co-own A/B tests for events, offers, and monetisation features - defining hypotheses, success metrics, and guardrails, then quantifying incremental impact including uplift, cannibalisation, and long-term effects.
  • Track the funnel from acquisition through to offer performance and translate findings into concrete recommendations.
  • Build and maintain self-serve reporting for LiveOps and monetisation, enabling fast decision-making during live events and post-mortems.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and developers to improve tracking, ensure clean KPI definitions, and communicate results in a way that drives action.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in product or game analytics within Free-to-Play, with exposure to LiveOps and monetisation topics (events, offers, economy, segmentation).
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write performant queries on large event datasets, validate tracking logic, and work comfortably with joins, window functions, and cohort/funnel analysis.
  • A solid grasp of applied statistics, including experiment design, significance, and bias pitfalls, with the judgement to balance speed with rigour in a fast-paced LiveOps environment.
  • Confidence in Microsoft Excel for rapid analysis and Power BI for clear, reliable dashboards, along with working familiarity with AI assistants and prior experience using Python analytically.
  • Strong understanding of core Free-to-Play concepts (conversion, payer lifecycle, LTV, price elasticity, cannibalisation), with a genuine interest in following the wider live games market.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights as clear decisions tailored to different audiences.
  • A self-driven, impact-focused approach, comfortable working to a cadence-driven LiveOps rhythm and always digging for the “so what?” behind the numbers.

Pay range and compensation package

  • €55,000-€72,000 gross (seniority level assessed during interview)
  • Flexible, trust-based working hours, plus on-site perks such as table tennis, a gym, and a rooftop terrace.
  • Excellent training and development opportunities, including e-learning, hard and soft skills training, and industry conferences.
  • 28 days’ holiday
  • Optional German lessons available.
  • Regular team socials (wine tasting, cooking, paintball), rooftop barbecues, and company-wide events.
