Rack & Stack Technician | Short-Term Data Center Project | $30-$31/hr

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming hardware shipments.
• Verify inventory quantities and report discrepancies.
• Handle equipment safely while following ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
• Perform repetitive hardware preparation and system processing tasks by following established procedures.
• Monitor system status and accurately record pass/fail results.
• Install servers, chassis, and related equipment into data center racks.
• Mount 2U hardware using rails and cage nuts.
• Connect power and network cables while maintaining clean cable management.
• Follow color-coding and labeling standards.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Work under the direction of project leads to complete daily production goals.

We’re hiring 30 Data Center Technician I’s for a short-term, high-volume deployment project in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.

This role focuses on hardware handling, equipment installation, and following standardized procedures in a fast-paced data center environment. While technical troubleshooting is not required, reliability, organization, and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential., * Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, or data center experience preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and comfortable using basic hand tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow written procedures and checklists.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of rack & stack installations is a plus.
• Familiarity with RJ45 and power cable connections is preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and install IT equipment safely.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
