Job description

As a Senior Multiplayer Programmer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust multiplayer systems in Unity using Photon., * Develop and maintain multiplayer gameplay systems using Unity and Photon

  • Work closely with designers, artists, and gameplay programmers in a multidisciplinary team
  • Help architect scalable and maintainable networking solutions
  • Optimize synchronization, prediction, replication, and multiplayer performance
  • Solve complex gameplay and networking challenges for co-op experiences
  • Take ownership of systems and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Support multiplayer features across PC and potentially console platforms

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unity?, * Minimum 5 years of professional Unity experience

  • Experience working in a professional game development team of approximately 5-10 people
  • Experience working in an agile game development environment
  • Shipped at least one commercial game (preferably multiple)
  • Strong experience with Photon networking solutions
  • Strong C# programming skills
  • Experience optimizing multiplayer gameplay performance, synchronization, and networking systems
  • Able to work independently within a flat studio structure
  • Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility without heavy management layers
  • Able to work onsite in our Antwerp studio at least 3 days per week
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience shipping multiplayer co-op games
  • Experience with console development, especially Xbox and PlayStation platforms
  • Familiarity with backend services and online systems
